长尾 真教授

日本国家信息通讯研究院理事长,前京都大学校长。长尾 真教授历任电子信息通讯学会会长,语言处理学会(ANLP)首任会长,信息处理学会会长,认知科学学会会长,日本机械翻译学会首任会长,国际图形识别联盟副会长,亚洲太平洋机械翻译协会(AAMT)首任会长,国际机械翻译学会(IAMT)首任会长。

长尾 真教授是国际自然语言处理与机器翻译领域杰出学科带头人,EBMT之父,在图像和语言的智能信息处理等领域具有深厚的理论造诣并取得了丰硕的实践应用成果。长尾教授历任京都大学工学研究科长、工学部长和京都大学校长等职务。曾获得机械翻译国际联盟第一次荣誉奖章,国际人工智能财团学术研究奖,IEEE Emanuel R.Piore奖,信息处理学会论文奖,信息处理学会创立20周年纪念论文奖、功绩奖,电子信息通讯学会业绩奖,日本小林纪念特别奖、功绩奖,日本通商产业大臣表彰,日本邮政大臣表彰,日本科学技术信息中心丹羽奖,京都新闻文化奖,日本大川出版奖,日本紫绶奖章(专业领域:智能信息学)等。

Prof.NAGAO Makoto was born in Japan, October 1936,and obtained B. Eng. in 1959, M. Eng. in 1961, D. Eng. in 1966 from Kyoto University. He was President of Kyoto University and President of the Japan Association of National Universities. He also served President of The International Association for Machine Translation and President of International Natural Language Processing. On 1 April , 2004 he became President of National Institute of Information and Communications Technology,Incorporated Administrative Agency, Japan
